Luka Modric has no intentions of leaving Real Madrid anytime soon

It was back on August of 2012 when Luka Modric joined Real Madrid and signed a 5 year long deal with the Spanish club.


From there on out, Modric has done on to become one of the most influential players in the entire squad and he has embarked on a very successful career as the Croatian midfielder has lifted some of the most prestigious pieces of silverware in the world of football including: The UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup, just to name a few.

Luka Modric spent 4 seasons performing with Tottenham Hotspur but he failed to win any major trophy but with Real Madrid, things have quickly changed and the Croatian is clearly enjoying his time in the Santiago Bernabeu as Modric has extended his contract until June of 2020 and he has recently stated that he wants to continue performing for Real Madrid even beyond what his contract has established. Luka Modric is out of action for around 1 month

Real Madrid along with Barcelona and Athletic Madrid are currently located in the top spots of the Spanish League, this is something that is not surprising as those 3 clubs have traditionally been the leaders of Spain as the ones that are considered as the best teams of that league.


Even though Real Madrid is competing for the top spot of La Liga, they have recently been hit with a number of injuries with a few key players sustaining injuries that have and will be keeping them out of the playing grounds for some time.
Marcelo, Casemiro, James Rodriguez, Fabio Coentrao and Luka Modric are all of the more recognized and influential players in Real Madrid that have recently picked up injuries.

Luka Modric underwent a knee surgery in early October and he is expected to stay out of the field for around 1 month which is a huge blow for ZinedineZidane as the Frenchman has been utilizing the services of Modric as one of his main players in the midfield along with Toni Kroos and they both played a huge role in the UEFA Champions League success of the previous season.
