Never understood why he would go to Chelsea over United. He wants to stay in London and play CL football? He’s perfect for Manchester United! Perfect replacement for Scholes, too. Everything about it would be perfect. Big pitch, perfect surface, part of a winning team with world-class players, winning trophies, managed by the best manager ever, great staff, etc. I just couldn’t see Modric fitting in Chelsea as well as he would at OT.
