I don’t think there is any point in a move to Chelsea for him anymore as in the next few years, spurs will probably be the best London club and the most realistic chance of challenging the Manchester teams

Oh my god this comment is even fucking worse. “Spurs wouldn’t be in the premiership without him” – what a fucking stupid statement.

If we lost Modric we’d put VdV in his position (where he plays for Netherlands sometimes) then our midfield would be Bale – Sandro – VdV – Lennon, still in the top 3 midfields in the Premier League. We could also use the money to buy a goalscorer to play alongside Adebaor such as Rossi.

I DON’T WANT US TO SELL MODRIC, just replying to your stupidity.

You make a good point but obvious didn’t watch what team we fielded for the PAOK game, it was just full of youngsters so please research the team sheet for that game AT LEAST before making comments.

Also, during the 2009-10 season Modrc was injured for 2+ months, during that time we enjoyed a higher % than with Modric. We wouldn’t finish outside the top 6 without him, that’s a ridiculous comment. The little guy is a class act and our best player but comments such as yours are crazy.

Did you see Modric’s Cracker today vs Liverpool? Holy smokes WTFPWND Lol

I’m a Chelsean fan and I think Modric is currently the best creative midfield player the Premier League has at the moment. Bale got all the attention last season but it was Modric that was the standout Tottenham player Even Sir Alex Ferguson said he would have gave the best player award to him. Modric is someone who directs the midfield and makes the play. He makes others around him play much better. We lack someone like that in our midfield. We need more dynamism/vision/creativity.

(extension to my previous comment) Look its obvious you got something against the lil guy, Luka is an amazing player, and many think the best play maker in the EPL…creates spaces, runs, opportunities out of nothing, ball movement, field of view, pass accuracy, pass difficulty , and i can go on, thats how you measure a playmaker …here you go watch the Croatia vs Israel highlight and this youtube and enjoy beautiful football youtube.(com) /watch?v=RG_CiVDCqV8

why cant you see that without him they wouldn’t, even be in the top 6 he didn’t play today and they could not beat PAOK Its called Business, they thought they could keep him for 45k and you saw what happened, He got “quiet” Go and check Croatia game vs Israel that happened last week.its simple if you were right Chelsea and all the top teams such as man utd, inter etc. would not be interested in him, and Chelsea would not offer 40mil.and SPURS WOULD NOT DECLINE the OFFER.Point proven

your picking on odd bits. last season spurs went backwards the forwards hardly scored and modric had a quiet period at the end which contrbuted to it. why didnt modric go for 75k when signing a 6 year deal not long ago instead of 45k roughly. why didnt spurs offer 75k if 27 million way to low the words of redknapp. could be a while to spurs come top 4 again

  • MMARIC20

    December 9, 2011

dude how do you think forwards mostly score? They get the ball from the middle field( modric) I vividly remember modric dribbling inside inters defense causing them to come out, sending a through ball for a score! Last inter game champions league. And they bumped his pay to 75 k when he said he wants to leave. ” head in the game” since last season he wanted to leave, go look at the Croatia game vs israel and ul see his head in the game, he is spurs best player eve mangment claims so

  • razer4660

    December 9, 2011

really the same forwards that got spurs 4th and into the knockout stage of the champions league. the point im making is modric is good but he aint that good. spurs last season came 5th and had a good run in the ch lge year before 4th it was said by many the reason spurs had a poor end of season was modric and others form dipped. why wasnt modric on 60k 70k like others if 27 million was way to low. in 2011 top top players dont earn 40k 45k a week that modric is on rooney 250k a week

  • MMARIC20

wow really? Look u are talking about has been forwards, besides u can take the horse to the water but u can’t make him drink. Spurs success is all credited on modric and you can’t deny that. They did score average, spurs are not a top tier team and they wouldn’t be in th pemiere league without him lol. The fact that they declined mire than double what they paid for him proves it.lok up Croatia vs Israel 3-1 dutiful qualifers.. Ul see how magical he is, when he loves to play for a team
